A few from my evening hike
Lens: da 16-45mm Camera: K-x ISO: 200

Hi all,

Long time lurker and first time poster in this section. I had great weather last night so I decided to head out to try and get some decent sunset and dusk pictures. Any tips or suggestions to try next would be more than welcome, cheers.

I like number one and two, good composition and color on both with interesting subject matter. Not so fond of three, although it has good color, subject matter not very interesting.

I like all of these photos, especially the first. There's a strange fringing between the edges of the trees and the sky in the second photo. I like the peacefulness in the third, which reminds me of countless evenings on the lake when I lived at water's edge in a cabin. The best time of the day there. Thanks for the shots. As Jim says, there's a lot of potential at that site.

I really dig the second and third images, although I see that strange fringe/halo on the second one mentioned already.

While the third one is quiet vacant on specific subject matter I just get a nice feeling looking at the blended colours. The first one is nice too, but may have benefited from an ND Grad to stop the sky blowing out?

Thanks for the comments Kp/FruitLooPs.

The first one has already made me start researching ND filters for future long exposure shots. It was actually my first attempt at trying to do this type of technique.
