Macro My first hoverfly shot

and coincidently my only..... and ontop of that my first shot of the day.

As this was my first shot of the day, clearly my settings were wack.

(getting the balance of flash power, shutter speed, ISO, and aperture takes a couple test shots, which I did not have time to take)

Your settings were wack? Lucky for you. I really like the way the exposure seems to highlight the in-focus portion and lets the rest blend in to a dark background. Very interesting to view.

Hey, isn't that the evil twin from Spiderman 3??

Well the loss of detail to underexposure is to much for me

I can understand the need for better exposure, but on the other hand this works great as it is, because it shows a very nice artistic mood.
