We haven't seen enough bug pictures this season...
Posted By: Heinrich Lohmann, 08-16-2007, 08:34 PM

so let me post a few

This one made the PENTAX Gallery

All of them where taken with the K100D, 50-200 plus Canon 250D.

This will be my last post for a while, next Tuesday we are leaving on a a two month road trip to Eastern Canada and some of the North Eastern States. I'll have the laptop along and will post some from where ever I can.

Tack Sharp as usual Heinrich , I love the last one well done.

Have a great trip to the east coast - you should be there in time for the fall. I miss all the colors of fall with the leaves on the east coast (spent some time in NS ).

I am sure you will have a few pics for us to see when you get back. Enjoy.

Hi Dave and thank you. We will have the fall colors one way or the other, if it's too early in N.S. well see them in Northern Ontario on the back back.

Take care, Heinrich

Hi Colleen and thank you for the kind words. As to the dragonflies it is patience and knowing the secret word LOL and than some more patience. Once you get the hang of it it is rather easy.

I had a look at your blog, very nicely done and for that I would not have the patience. We had the same incident last month than you did in "this is not home depot", the price of a Sigma 50-500 later we were back in business.

I'll wave out the window when we pass through Bangor next month.

Take care, Heinrich

Yes... as I stood there watching the puddle of gasoline form on the ground I thought I was watching the camera that I was about to buy going bye-bye into the puddle with it. SO glad we lucked out there and it was an easy fix and I was still able to order it yesterday!!

Happy travels and I'll be sure to wave back when you go by!

Hi Heinrich,

Nice series of images... Canon?... which ones?

Wonderful composition on the last image.

Enjoy the trip eastward. Coming to PA at all?

Great shots Heinrich, that last one is excellent. Where are you going to visit in Eastern Canada? Maybe drop me a PM and we can meet up somewhere. I may have a few good suggestions for you around places to see as I am a Territory manager and travel this region extensively.
