Does this photo have any interest? I realize there isn't much going on, but thought it was kinda cool.

There is more going on there than I could go out back and ever duplicate. Yeah, I like it. Wish a little color underneath showed but shooting into the sun I understand the issue.

Nice shot, I think the sun being where it is makes it interesting. Thanks for sharing.

IMHO the shot is very interesting. Perhaps not a great pic of an eagle per say, but how often is one captured in flight just clipping the sun, beautifully rimmed, and pretty sharp (focus and blur). The star burst is not bad either. I like it.

Did you shot RAW? If so you might be able to push the detail on the eagle a bit and see if it improves the overall effect (perhaps..!). I would try a bit of dynamic range enhancement if I had a RAW image.

I agree, it is cool. Like someone else said, maybe not a great shot of the eagle per se, just a really good photo full of beauty and interest.

Thanks guys. It was really just a luck shot. I was tracking the eagle as it crossed in front of the sun. I was only blinded for a short time.

Unfortunately, I only shot in jpg so there isn't a whole lot I can do with it. I regret not shooting raw, but being a beginner, I wasn't sure if I could handle the PP for that many photos.
