Sitka Deer, Two point buck and doe.
Posted By: arbutusq, 08-18-2007, 08:13 AM

Well after my thread on WB in RAW I thought I was getting a bit too measurebator-ish so it is time to pony up (er deer up?) and post some images.

K100d FAJ 75-300, info in EXIF.

Young, two point buck

Doe, a deer a female deer....

I am not really happy with the PP in any of these shots. The harsh midday lighting made it difficult to bring up the colors in the shadows and midtones without making a very flat image.

Look good to me. I especially like the first. The colours of the buck and the vegetation come out more and the buck is just a little off centre which I personally think works better.
