Nice job Jim! I like the deep, moody coloring of the "old" shot and can visualize a large print on a wall in my den. Is that a crop where the original exposes more of the foreground? or is that it?

No crop Jim. There was a bunch of chunk and another smaller bost laying in the front. This was shot with my wide angle lens. JIM

#1 is very nice

#2 looks a little leaned to the right, also I think it could benefit from a warmer tone

Thanks. My head must lean that way as I didn;t notice that until you mentioned it. I didn't want to play too much with the second image given the overexposed background. I find it just gets worse. JIM

Fixed the horizon and tried a warm filter as suggested. Still not sure if I prefer the first one. Cheers JIM
