A few from our trip to the Roanoke City Market & Taubman Museum in Roanoke Va. A little cross posting from the challenges pages.

Taubman Lobby.

Upstairs Window with Transparent man.

Upstairs Balcony with Roanoke Landmark, the H&C coffee sign in the background.

Crazy treatment of a shot of the Wachovia Tower and the Taubman.

reflection makes the first photo interesting and the last HDR is cool.
So many things I still need to try.

Very cool shots. I especially like the first one. The reflections and detail makes it really interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Nice thread. I like the negative space and natural look of the second shot... if you could fix the horizon it would be even better! The reflections photo is a bit too pumped for my liking. Thanks for sharing these with us.

Thanks, I think that the horizon is level although it took me a while to get it right. The horizontal line above the desk is level, the roof slopes. Although I was a bit off center so the tiles make it look off center as wel.

Wow, the first shot is really good, on the brink of being busy, but the many layers actually keep the tension and interest high!

Very nice! It is fun to see my own back yard through someone else's eyes for a change.

Is Lynchburg in Lower Appalachia? Nice to see other Pentaxians in the area.

Lynchburg is a beautiful little city, but I can't claim it. I moved from Centreville to Blacksburg about 7 years ago after coming down to visit a friend, who was a student at Tech at the time. A couple of years later, I discovered Blacksburg's low rent counterpart (Christiansburg) and have been here since.
