Hummingbirds...
Posted By: Bud, 07-25-2010, 06:04 PM

I started a new job recently and haven't been spending too much time on the internet. I have, however, found the time to chase my favorite summertime subjects around the yard.

Here's a few of my favorites so far this summer... thanks for lookin'!

All with K20D and DA*300... most using 540 flash for fill

I remember seeing a similar series from you before Bud and distinctly recalled how good they were.
These are just as brilliant mate.
Beautifully captured works of art with such texture and excellent DoF control.
Hey, Ash!

Thanks for the very nice comments and recall of images past... we're in the height of humingbird and butterfly season here... my favorite photographic time of the year

Remarkable shots! I'm still waiting for our Hummers to arrive but my shots never get close to those.

Thanks! The immature birds are out and about or just leaving the nests, and the adult males are just beginning their southern migration. If you haven't had any sightings yet, you should very soon.

Thanks for the comments!
