Very nicely done! I'd love to have been there to watch the action (and shoot, of course).

Awesome shots Chuck... If I could ask... How much cropping or were they that close to the MD side (they were leaving about the time we arrived).

Nice shots!! Between you and Dave. Geeze. I really want one of those lenses.

I really wish I could have made it out again on Sunday for the morning's shooting adventures. I can't wait until we can all get together again (c'mon Mike, plan something! lol)

The full first shot in PE is about 23% and the image on this post is about 33%. Sorry I don't speak PE cropping language very well....

Mel - the Da 300mm is often my walk-about lens. Very sharp, reasonably light and a quick focus. This is why I was asking about your quick release straps which seem to be a good match. In addition to the K200D hand grip which I purchased today, I expect that the strap is a soon to buy purchase. Boy, these Gatherings are expensive (once you get home....) Oh and I was talking to my wife about a K7. The colors in your image of the church are to die for. You were right about the metering and color presentation on the K7.... Oh well.... In the future.....

Distressed Canon user says: "But, but, Pentax can't shoot action! Those must have been shot with a 7D!"

Haha, great shots. #2 would have to be my favorite.
