The Moon
Lens: Sigma Camera: K20D Photo Location: Arkansas ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F11

Been a long time since I've posted here. Had an injury and just now able to get back with the show.
I took this yesterday morning with the Sigma 50-500mm "Bigma" @500mm and my K20D. Think I oversharpened just a little, but I still like the effect and ruggedness of the moonscape... 1/60th @ f/11, ISO 100.

Not bad! I agree that it's a bit soft, but the contrast in the details is great!

Thanks for the reply Adam. I think I need to squeeze out a faster shutter speed, since at that magnification, even 1/60th sec is going to show some movement from the Earth's rotation. I'm going to try going to ISO 400, maybe higher and see what happens.

Its very tough to get much detail and contrast when the moon is that full so your shot came out very well.
