These are cool - I particularly like the "unusual" body disposition in the third shot.

I'd almost forgotten your heronitis . Neat shots, buddy.

He was hunting down a frog on that last shot. He did miss getting it though. I have been trying to shoot them at different lighting to see if I can get more detail. JIM

No wonder I can't find any herons - they are all out in BC.

Tom, I went down to my favorite pond and there was four in the water. This guy was the onyl one to stay for his picture. About 30 feet away. JIM
