Last of my Heron Shots

Just had to throw one more in from this morning. Done with Herons for a bit folks. JIM

No blinds Jim. I'm just not that serious as yet. Perhaps when I retire.

At the moment I just pack the K10, M 400mm on my monopod and hope for the best. I encounter lots of herons and other wildlife but they generally run off before I get the image I would like. Still enjoyable inspite of the frustrations or perhaps because of them.

It may be the general appearance of the first shot that appeals to me, your handling of the heron is good, but it also flattens the background a bit, I think.. go figure
