Dusk at Dickson, Torres del Paine
Lens: DA15 & DA35 Camera: K7
Posted By: gfonso, 08-03-2010, 02:33 PM

I thought you might be sick of me posting sunrises, so here are some dusk shots

This one was a bit difficult on the exposure because of the backlighting, but I really liked the view and I thought I'd give it a try. I know it has its flaws but I'm fairly satisfied with the outcome, however I'd like to hear your opinions . I'm sure it can be improved so any suggestions are more than welcome. Taken with de DA15 Ltd, handheld.

This one is my first attempt at a long exposure pano, again I kind of like the result but again I'd like to know what you think. DA35 Ltd, f11, 1,6s, tripod.

Both images were taken at or near Dickson camp, by Lake Dickson, in the less trodden part of the Torres del Paine circuit.

I think the first shot is particularly successful. The crop is just about perfect, and the exposure is just as good. Well done!

Thanks for your comment Jer. Lago Dickson is a very special place, I'm glad I have been able to portray some of its beauty.
