Cerro Torre Sunrise

Sorry, it's back to sunrises

I almost missed this one after not hearing the alarm in my wristwatch. Fortunately the location was close to the campsite, so I got there, still rubbing my eyes and cursing myself, but I got there. Barely missed a few minutes where the granite walls were colored in pink (I actually saw it and took photos, but I wasn't where I wanted to be and the images are not very interesting). So this is what I've got, that and an excuse to go back (as if I needed one )

Now the good news, you're getting rid of me for a few weeks, as I'm going on a long(ish) distance hike in the Swiss Alps. I hope I'll come back with at least a few images worthy of your attention. Thanks for looking!

DA15 Ltd. Focus is a little soft in this one, which I think is a pity, as it could have been a good one otherwise.

Interesting to see you took limiteds rather than standard zoom.

I love the limiteds for what I do. As I am hiking for a week or more, unsuported, my photography equipment must be as light and compact as possible. And as far as their IQ, not much to complain about I think

Any shortcomings are my own

Beautiful area! To bad about missing the first light, I always kick myself when that happens.
Thanks for posting.
