...fyi..... i was on the other side of the lake for these shots.... far away.....the 400mm is a lot of fun.... trap focus works so well....

more to come... some with my newly acquired sigma 70-200mm f2.8 (1st gen)

using the sigma 400 and the sig 70-200 handheld was laborious.... but fun... dave m

Love the second one! Was surprised to see the location, I live about 25 minutes away from Chautauqua Lake!

i've driven the buffalo dozens of times heading down to the lake..... the anchor bar has great wings... so does the asheville general store....

yeah.... never remember to pack that mono or tripod.... that sigma 70-200mm is an anchor.... just got it..... learning to use it... thanks, dave m

E-Scows (I think) - I haven't seen one of these in years.

These are superior boat shots, Dave. Sharp yet with feel of summer; I really enjoyed looking.
