thanks charlie..... i live in cranston, which is about 30-40 minutes away... depending on the traffic...... still gotta make it up your neck of the woods...

.. had no clue of what kind of spider this was... except scary.. yeah... when it comes to spiders... i'm a girly man.....

Great shots!
Do you know that "Gift" is the German word for poison? "Gift wrap" may be just about right then.

Same in Swedish too, but pronounced "yift"...

thanks... i used the on board flash on the k-x.... i turned down it's power so as not to blow out the shot... keeping the reflection to a bare minimum.... i should use a diffuser but just never get around to making/buying one.... dave m
