Cheers mate, setup was as follows:

Pentax K-X
ISO3200 // 30 sec // f4 // 16mm // tripod

There's obviously been some PP (noise reduction/saturation/contrast mainly).

Like this a lot, our skies here are just black, as seen with the naked eye, I'll have to have a go at this myself sometime.

A wonderful night shot. What part of the sky is that and did you use an equitorial mount on you tripod.?

I am located on the Gold Coast hinterland, Australia. I'm reasonably isolated so there is little-to-no light pollution.

Nothing special. I walked outside my garage, setup my tripod and aimed at a "light" area of the sky.
