Shots from my new DA 16-45 Pentax short zoom
Lens: DA16-45 f4 pentax Camera: k100D Photo Location: Perkasie PA ISO: 200

All of these were shot hand-held with my new lens. Very pleased with
the lens. It even performs surprisingly well on floral macros.
C&C welcome. Freddy

some of them are kind of soft. Not sure why.

I don't know why they don't look so good on this forum. When I print them they are perfect. Except for the close up of the pink coach. It was dark in the
barn and I had to use in camera flash. Freddy
P.S. the last one I deliberately oversaturated because my wife wanted a very vivid red picture
in the living room. When I printed it it was perfect. Who knows?

Good bright work here.
First and last are clearly soft appearing on the forum, but it's likely the issue is the high JPEG compression applied, losing detail. But why those and not the others only you can answer that...
THanks for sharing.
The 16-45 is a good lens.

Very nice, the 16-45 is a very nice lens.
Between "it" and the 50-300mm I think Pentax really has the lead in low cost high performance glass these days.

You know, Ash. I think you're right. There's no reason for these shots
to be "funny". I think its because I just started shooting raw, again.
I think when I converted back to jpeg I had problems. What do you think.
Tell you one thing, I'm not shooting raw anymore. Thanks so much. Freddy
