Urban shapes

Possible beginning of a small series on Wellington urban landscape. I've shot quite a few like this before, these ones were just over the last couple of days. Not titles yet.

If you're going to be posting more of these, then this sure is a great start! I like all the shots because of their contrasty tones. i think the last is my favorite.

I like these, specially the ones with dark shadows (#2 and #3)!

#4 is awesome! If it were me, I'd clone the guy on the right out of the image. Won't be easy, but I guess a photoshop wizard could do it.

I have a few more shots from the same spot so I'll try using some of that to clone over the top.

I think these are great. The high contrast, the movement versus the static... love them. The man running and the last photo are my favorites. Looking forward to more.

That should work. You may have to transform the area to be copied slightly, if you moved but shouldn't be a problem even with GIMP.

You have a good eye. Some excellent shots. I would not go the clone route unless it was a small area. The fact is most street shots have extraneous material because streets are busy and this unavoidable. Nevertheless, the ideas and compositons on the whole are excellent.

I like these a lot! The man in #1 makes it interesting, changes the rhythm. #2 is like a re-imagined HCB. #4 has those glowing bright hands that give the whole picture a strange feeling.
