Waiting for the Light
Lens: 12-24 Camera: K20 Photo Location: Maple Ridge ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/30s Aperture: F16

Here is two shots at the same location. The first is just before sun rise and the secind is just after. [ten minutes apart. JIM

Wow- certainly a big difference! Did you have any other lenses with you? IMO something like a short tele would be able to produce fantastic results here!

No but heading back tomorrow with a few lenses. JIM

Well, the sun certainly makes the shot, it's about light after all - good shot!

These two were shot with my 12-24. Will try the 16-50 and the 70-200 on the next go around. JIM

I wish there was a way to get to the far end of this stream and shoot in the other direction on sun rises. Now that would be a shot. JIM
