Raining Stars 2: Perseid
Lens: Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 Camera: Pentax K2000 Photo Location: Sedona, Arizona ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: >6s Aperture: F2

A few nights ago, during the Perseid meteor shower, I decided to go outside and retry an old standard of mine. Wasn't easy to do with a broken tripod. But it was lots of fun to just sit on the road, listen to the Coyotes, watch the stars, and not have a worry in the world for a while.

That is positively excellent! Well composed, well exposed, well though. There seems to be some flare on the top right corner, part from that, I have nothing but praises!

Wow, thanks so much! Yeah, the flare was unfortunately from light pollution(somebody's spotlight). Many thanks though! Means a lot.

Very cool!!! I love that shot! Missed the meteors here-too cloudy and overcast.

Thanks! Sedona is at such a high elevation, you can see much more than most cities.
