A couple Beetles.
Lens: Sigma EX 70mm F2.8 Macro Camera: K7 Photo Location: In the bushes
Posted By: OrenMc, 08-15-2010, 11:48 AM

I sent my Sigma 300/2.8 in for service so this gives me a bit of a chance to play around doing macros again. I sure was getting rusty and I should switch up more often.

Anyway, here ya go.

I got to try the reversed lens thing and stacking. One day soon I hope

I have to agree, sharp focus with a lot of detail showing which is exactly what Macro is all about.

These look great! The first three aren't beetles though, but rather some sort of shieldbug. Not that that makes them any less appealing.

Thanks everyone for the comments, and thank you MrEspie for introducing me to the Shieldbug. I call any little shelled insect a beetle
