Barn Swallow at feeding time
Lens: SMC DA 55-300mm Camera: K-x Photo Location: Heerhugowaard (Netherlands) ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F11

At the horse-riding centre, where I try to learn to horse-ride , there are many barn swallows with nests. Because it's pretty dark in the stables it wasn't easy to take pictures of them, so I used direct (hard) flash. Because of that it isn't a technical nice photo, but I like the picture anyway.

Ok, as promissed, I made some more photo's of these barn swallows last night. I used my Sigma 530 flash, reduced the flashpower with 0.7 EV and used an "inflatable softbox" to soften the flashlight.
