Very nice pictures, some jump out more than the others. 1st, 4th and the last one are my favourites. Also the one with all the ladies trying to rip clothes of the husband (I don't remeber the correct word for that right now), nice group shot, a bit wondering expressions but a good idea.

Having worked as a wedding photographer for a good many years (up to three sessions per weekend) I appreciate good work. Like many professions there is the share of "wanna-be's" who today have the tools (point and shoot to complex equipment) but not the skill required to produce....

I am sure that your friend enjoyed the memories you took and add them to there book or frame and hang. The "official" photofgrapher had better been pretty darn good to beat these shots.

Well done any studeo would be happy to include these in an album.

My wife and I just got married and paid a large chunk of change for our wedding photographers and the results were fantastic. Your photographs are excellent and I'm sure your friends will appreciate them for the rest of their lives. I especially like the 2nd and 4th of the set. Great job.

You are a brave man. Wedding photo's can be difficult given you don't get a second chance. Well done Peter. JIM

Thanks guys, appreciate your comments. I have to say that by helping I meant that me & my mrs and one friend (Nikon guy) did all the pics for the couple for cheap money. No other photogs. It was bit nerve wrecking as I me & mrs use primes almost exclusively. Bride liked the results, haven't heard from groom yet and I'm waiting to see Nikon results

The more I see of the photos everyone else takes for weddings the more
I realize how much the photographer for my wedding sucked. We got screwed.

Great stuff, Peter. My daughter is getting married in a couple of months - I wish you and your wife could do the photography.

Very nicely done Peter. They will (and should be happy with this). don't worry about the groom, they don't usually comment much and it's the bride you hae to satisfy

A few comments.
1) Classic detail shot and nice capture
2) Timeless photo of her. Nice expression and 'look' to the image.
3) Somewhat standard shot. On my calibrated monitor, this looks too green. Chuch light is a challenge and this needs a bit of PP help IMO.
4) Nicely done and very good use of the available light.
5) I don't understand this one. He's got his jacket on his knee? I like the image just maybe not for a wedding album. That's just my $0.02
6) Nice concept, the hair blends into the background too much as both are dark. Without an off camera light in this setting, impossible to avoid.
7) Very nice setup and execution.
8) Nice idea and well done. My only comment is the girl in black on the left doesn't seem interested and almost would have been better left out. That takes away from an otherwise very good shot.
9) Good detail shot and these are always important. Well done.
10) Home run! Works in every way possible. Love it.

Good work Peter. Peter Zack's said it all - you nailed the B&Ws and 5 and 10 are beautifully rendered. Nice series.
