Anhui (Eastern China)

The past two weeks we've exchanged busy Shanghai for the not-as-busy province of Anhui. The photos were made at Jiuhuashan (a holy mountain with more temples than you can count) and in a few old villages in the area.

Nice collection Kevin! My daughter s from Anhui. I expecially liked the geese on the canal among the extended set.

All of them are stunning! My daughter's from Anhui as well. She was born in Huaibei, about 300 km north of Hefei (and about 800 km south of Beijing).

The lame answer is 'Why not?'. But to be fair, I just really like square compositions. I've never really warmed up to 3:2.
