Eagle ™ Feed Epilogue
Lens: Da-300 Camera: K200D Photo Location: jaestown, VA ISO: 200

Sorry to trouble you, but here are the last of the series. Unlike the previous shots at ISO 400, near the end of the shoot I dropped down to 200 ISO which reduced the graininess of some close-ups. Also one of the strangest portions of the shoot was how, the eagle cleaned (wiped) his beak on one of the metal crosses we have a Jamestown marking 17th century graves after eating....

So thanks for putting up with this Sunday craziness....









Oh since this turned into a bit more of a Jamestown promotion then I expected, here are a couple of additional wildlife shots. You never know who might show up on island...

No... u didn't trouble me. I just called the bald eagle a cute little thing, that freaked my gf out. : )

Wow - these are really terrific. The detail in the eagle knocks me out - and the people candids are very sharp.
