Bejeweled - Too Dark?
Lens: DA 18-55mm II Camera: K200D Photo Location: My Backyard ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F6.7

These grass blades were bent with droplets from a downpour that had just passed through. The second shot was a mistake when PPing, and is a composite. I kind of liked it, so didn't discard it even though it was a mistake. To retain the sparkly drops and avoid blown highlights, I kept the photos a bit dark. Question is, are they too dark?

Thanks Rense and Iris. I like dark pictures, as well, but can't always be sure if my tastes will be shared by others.

I prefer the first over the second image. B&W works on this image. JIM

They are perfect.

I, too, prefer the first photo. I think it is more delicate than the second with its larger drops.
