Queenstown & Southland New Zealand
Lens: 18-55mm Camera: K20D Photo Location: Various ISO: 400
Posted By: FruitLooPs, 08-29-2010, 03:24 PM

Went on my annual snowboarding trip to Queenstown for a week, unfortunately one of the guys going broke his femur not long before hand so snowboarding was off the menu. Daily road trips ensued, along with many photo opportunities. Nearly all of these were kit lens, although possibly one or two with Tamron Adaptall 35-80mm

Nugget Point

Glenorchy

Double Rainbow (Queue Double Rainbow guy.. )

Purakanui Falls

Milford Valley (waterfalls galore)

A cheeky Kea (New Zealand Native Alpine Parrot)

Lake Wakatipu Panoramic (near Glenorchy)

Hope you enjoyed, I know I had great fun

Don't tell me - you stopped at the tunnel entrance (the pic above the kea)? Then had to run from the keas before they ripped your car apart?

Cool pano.

Haha
I know exactly where you are talking about - awesome place, but unfortunately I never saw a Kea. Do they go for shiny lenses and/or cameras?

Great pano and the other shots are nice too. I love NZ, great place and the people are alright too (Would almost say that the people are very friendly, but as an Aussie it's hard to ever admit anything positive/nice about Kiwis )

I'm quite sure they would attack your camera if you left it out somewhere. Could probably do a bit of damage too.

Yeah, we've noticed that about you Aussies
