This shot is top notch!

Those are all amazing rally shots, but this one right here is better than what I typically see in print or online. Great composition with the car leaving the frame, excellent blurring of the background while panning and you nailed to focus. I'd put this shot up on Pentax Photo Gallery and I'd be shocked if it didn't get posted as a premier photo. I'd also try the last photo too because you also nailed the emotional climax to that team while still getting a great compositional shot and the sky is a winner to boot.

Great stuff sir and congratulations on the excellent photos.

Thanks guys a lot yep that shot with C2 I like most from that rally too, sometimes you get lucky (despite all damage C2 went very fast, that helped to blur background and afcause K10D helped a lot in nailing a focus etc.)

The 2nd one and the last one really do it for me. The 2nd has perfect composition and the emotion in th elast shot is astounding. Top work, I love rally shots but there isn't much happening in that sport in the state where I live.

I can't stand people and their camera phones.

pretty ridiculous to think you can get an even ok shot with something like that.

Wow, these are definately great shots. Can you talk a little bit about what mode/settings you used? The colors are awesome and the sky in your last shot is so nice it made me wonder if you were using a filter/polarizer of any kind. To get the car sharp and the background blurry do you need to keep the shutter speed from getting too high or will the panning of the camera give you that blur regardless of the shutter spead? My only panning experience with the K10D so far was shooting a couple getting shot out of a canon at the circus and it was indoors and very dark, so I can't compare. Thanks!

Great shots.

Well done! Love those shots of the airborne cars. Panning well handled as well. The feeling of speed and excitement is very well portrayed.
