My First 10000 Kilometer Rollover
Posted By: daacon, 08-30-2007, 06:11 AM

First car I have had that I have seen the rollover - usually buy older ones that are well beyond this. Had one new Van that we sold at 98k that was the closest.

Yep ours are usually past 100,000 kilometres when we get them too! We had one recently that ticked over 200,000!

If I keep up with the driving that I've been doing lately I'll be at 400,000 before the end of the year.

If I can chase down the cash owed to me there's a good chance that I'll get something a little newer soon.

Of all the cars I have owned this was a first for me - had to take a picture (and of course any excuse to clik the shutter). We recently gave my daughter my previous car (I bought it at about 180k) it now has 220k+ and should last at least double that (if she keeps it).

Stu

400k ? On the same engine / tranny ? That is impressive - hopefully you can track down some of that cash - let me know if it becomes an issue haha - I am a fairly big guy and can fly into Kelowna for some 'collection' services

Who needs to fly.....i drive up there all the time
I stand 6'4 330lbs......i used to be sent to collect money from mechanics when i worked for dodge because they were too scared to say no to me lol.
I've never been in a fight in my life.....mostly because I get mistaken for a sasquatch if i don't shave for a while

400k is a lot
I bought my car in dec '06 with 33,700km on it. I will roll over 69,000km this weekend

My other car has 98,xxxkm on it and will probably hit a max of 100,000km by the end of the yea
