Borrowed Camera
Lens: 12-24 Camera: K20 Photo Location: Vancouver ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F4.5

I have a cousin who shoots professionally and she was doing a local event and asked if she could borrow my wide angle lens. [She shoots a D300 from Nikon] Anyway, here is one of the images she shot at 800 ISO, 4.5 @ 125 sec using my equipment. She liked the camera except for the FPS was much slower then she is use to. [Her D300 is 7 FPS and I think the K20 is 3.5] I thought the K20 held up fairly well on tough lighting conditions and at 800 ISO. Cheers JIM

that's a sweet shot, I'm surprised she doesn't have the Tonkina 12-24 seeing how cheap it is compared to Pentax's, and most other ultra wide angles, along with the good reviews of it

Nice and very well-exposed, albeit a bit crooked! Agreed on the FPS- but I think the K-7 is a big step up already.

She was trying to rate a 12-24 but it was out at the shop she uses. Rarely does she have the need for a wide angle. JIM

Since I PP'ed the "Bit Crooked" is my doing. I haven't tried to K7 Adam and was hoping to next jump may be a better way to go. I guess we will find out this month. JIM

That is a pretty sweet picture. What was the event for, if you don't mind me asking?

Good result in my eyes.
Well done.
But of course she'd be disappointed with the more than doubly slower burst rate...

The problem was it was taking so long to see if the exposure was right. Shoot three bursts off and wait for buffer to catch up. With her D300 there is no wait and it shoots at 8 FPS. JIM
