White Crab Spider
Lens: DA 55-300 + RAYNOX 150 Camera: Pentax K-x
Posted By: VaughnA, 09-06-2010, 04:57 PM

While perusing the garden this morning we saw a dead bumblebee on a leaf. Then looked above it and found the reason it was dead. Beautiful little crab spider. Poor man's macro lens pulls it off (55-300 + Raynox)..

Wow-great detail, especially in the last. Wouldn't want that thing to bite me!

I play all over the place with FL, I think these were about 100-200. I usually try to use F11-F16 to get good depth of field. The crab spider was slow enough that I could use natural light and my tripod and ISO 200 for most of my shots.
