Felt like this bird was trying to hide something it had just done or perhaps stolen.. To me it has a shifty expression..

nice capture dan... if you cropped out more of the background.. it'd bring this beauty into closed focus..... more emphasis on the subject.... dave m

Looking a lot better! I'd use the "rule of thirds", crop in fairly close with the bird about 2/3 of the picture to the right, looking into the picture rather than being central. Try it that way and see what you think! Nice shot! Here's the way I'm recommending:
