Follow the Light

I could not resist the soft dappled light coming through the trees. Not the same as rays through a mist, but with a little experimentation, I think it came out rather well.
1. Follow the path
2. Pines aglow
3. Forest textures
4. Fun prelude to autumn

Inconceivable that this series hasn't been noticed yet!
They're all so unique and cleverly executed, I like them all.
But #1 is exceptional - the zoom effect is aptly applied there.
Thanks for sharing, sir.

Beautiful series. The motion effect is appealing, and in Follow the Path I think it enhances the soft dappled light you describe seeing. Did you move the lens in Fun Prelude to Autumn, or was it breezy? I like it however you managed it. Pines Aglow is so characteristic of late summer-early autumn in this part of the world, too. Love them.

Wonderful job, as usual, JMR. The first one makes me think of a path to another dimension.

Thanks everyone. They are all in-camera double exposures, except the last, which is a composite of two, essentially doing the same thing as the in-camera technique. Take one out of focus image, then the second in focus, or zoomed or with camera movement. I have found it very difficult to produce acceptable images with a single exposure.

looks like your using some of Bryan Peterson's techniques of zooming and panning on your shots.
