Great shot! I think that the BW works well here, and I don't mind that the shot is breaking the odd numbers rule, likely due to the asymmetry! Well done!

I really like this photo. The swans' grouping is intriguing -- a pair, and two who want a bit of elbow space, each one pointing a different direction, getting ready for a snooze. The B&W conversion is great, and the contrast in textures (gritty sand, smooth feathers, and choppy water) make this a beautiful photo.

Great shot, Dave! Good exposure and as the others said the whole composition is excellent, there is a lot to ponder about in this shot!
