A Galaxy Close By - And Not Too Long Ago
Lens: DA 35/2.8 Camera: K20D Photo Location: The Final Frontier ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F16

Hotter'n stink and I can't get to the boat for two or three more days . Thus, this morning I was reduced to taking a picture of the rising sun through one of the textured windows in our master bath (safe from heat and mosquitos) - reminds me of a galaxy.

Indeed, almost looks like a star field. Very nice!

Nice...

How do you guys think of things like this??? I'm constantly amazed around here. I've been into photography (and Pentax) for 30 years, and never even dreamed about some of the things I've seen here like this that make great shots...

Thanks much - there are, indeed, folks here that see things in a remarkably creative way. To be honest, what little MoJo I have has been pretty lame this summer, so I'm trying to do stuff different to stimulate my 64-year-old brain cells.
