Wonderful, all those shades of green. And great texture too.
It's difficult to shoot good forest photos, is my experience. You did quite well...

Thanks Rense. This was a 30 second exposure so I was lucky there was no wind. I wanted more light / [change F stop] but was afraid I would start to blow out the top of the image. Cheers. More to come from this area soon. JIM

What Rense said...until you mentioned the 30 sec exp I had no idea how you snapped that beautiful detail in the dark green forest. Plus...I have been shopping all afternoon for my own UW lens and the DA12-24mm just took the lead over the DA15 I rented for the week. What FL is the above shot at? Thanks for posting Jim and NICE shot.

Thats quite a plug for the lens...I am close.

What was the focal length of the above shot and did it require distortion correction in PP?

thanks.

Focal length was 14mm Lee and no distorsion correction. Its is one great lens but does struggle in low light on focusing. JIM

Excellent forest photo. I really like those mosses on the trees - something we don't see very often here in Finland.

So true Lee. I try to move thelens around, at the same distance I am trying to focus to and hopefully it wil lock. If not it manual and cross the fingers. Cheers JIM

THanks Joni. I am going there again today to try a few more if the light is right. This was a 30 exposure and there are a couple areas that were blown out. Will work on changing my position and re-shooting. JIM

Super shot, buddy: both lush and mysterious. I almost expect to see a T. Rex come busting out from behind those trees.
