Homerun Derby @ night
Lens: 4-5.6 55-200mm Camera: KX Photo Location: Imperial MO

Here is a pic I took last night at a benefit slowpitch softball Homerun Deby. I just got into DSLR photography, and as you can see... I need some practice. I turned the flash off because I didnt want a bright flash in the hitters eyes. Any suggestions on how to take clearer/sharper images at night??

The key to night photography is a fast shutter speed. The lighting here is good- you'd just need a higher ISO to freeze the action, I think. Great colors, too!

+1 High ISO
However, this turned out kind of neat with the blur.

It did turn out pretty neat on that particular picture, but not this one.

What shotting mode should I have had my KX in?? I had it on "Moving Objects".
