Oh! Deer! Stu!

I've got a lot more, but they're on a hard drive I don't have access to right now.

Let's see yours, Stu.

I should have you beat in quantity if not quality...

That first one cracks me up. Nice shots for sure. I'm hoping to get a few myself towards the end of the month.

Tom I'm green with envy. These shots are really great. :ugh: I don't get to see many here in the back yard and when I do I need something with more reach then my 50-200 or it's just not worth shooting them. I'm still hoping for something around 300 to 400mm but don't know when.

great shots Tom!

I noticed the EXIF for the first image shows 2005 - did you have the FA* 300/4.5 at that time? BTW, some of those are SHARP... Luckily I didn't cut myself!!

I love that head on wide-eyed shot - a buck saying "doh"!

Cheers and keep them coming!
Marc

Nice pictures Tom

My favorite 2 are the bottom 2.

I'm in just let me see what I can come up with tonight

Just a quick edit, I'm open to all challengers if Tom is as well.

shhh, don't tell this to Tom, but I think that he has me beat. But I'm sorting out my collection and will give him a good run for his money.

This one's just a teaser

and just to let everyone know, I've learned a lot about processing in the last 2 weeks so I'm rescuing some never seen before pictures :ugh:

Actually...

I don't hunt any more myself.

I do help out some friends as far as suggestions for stand locations, etc.,

I spend a lot of time in the woods, covering a large area and know what to look for.

But - I don't bring them anywhere near some areas where I want to protect some deer for photo hunting only.
