Beautiful, Freddie! Great texture and color. Reminds me of cantaloupes. I assume the blur in the petal lower right was due to a breeze. The upper edges of the top petals might be a tad oversharp.

Thanks, Tamia. Yes, that 50-200 is capable of really great shots, as I learned from you. An amazing bargain. Actually the lower right petal was too dark and I tried to brighten it up a bit in Photoshop, so detail inevitably is lost in that process.
I'm now beginning to work more with my Sigma 50mm 2.8 EX macro lens (the love of my life), after playing with my DA 16-45 for a month or so.
