your first shot is fantastic... great colors and sharp to boot... the exposure is perfect... thanks for sharing ... dave m... ?? what lens did you use ??

Sadly I don't have a good telephoto lens. The one I used was a super cheap ProSpec 70-210. I'd like to get a nice longer lens one of these days.

Great pictures. I was at the same show. I was on the faaaar right side of the flight line. That first picture is amazing. I knew that the explosion would happen both days but your timing is dead on. If you want, my pictures are on the next page of the same air show.

Thanks, Raylon... you got some great ones too. Nice and close! I didn't stay for the Blue Angels but wish I had. I work on the other side of the base and got a few shots when they were practicing but it was really overcast.
