Went to Mount Vernon last week to snap some shots that I thought I would share.

This with the 50mm f2

This with the 28mm f2.8

I used a ReDynamix filter to get the effect in the first shot.

Not too fond of that filter effect, sorry.

Rydynamix acts as kind of a faux HDR, giving you some artificial extra dynamic range without having three different shots to combine.

I was really just playing with it on this image, didn't have anything specific in mind, just thought about it when I was processing and thought that it gave the image a little bit more pop.
