still playing with my SIGMA 30mm f1.4

I have this lens too. It is a very versatile lens, good for walkaround use, good for whole body portrait, and pretty good for landscape work.

You obviously have taken a good portrait, as above.

More than a portrait, a story image that says something about the person. When I started photography, candid portraits of people, always in B&W, were THE THING to do, mostly in imitation of CB. Very good IQ on this lens. SUGGESTION: Try cropping a little more of the right & left - right to eliminate the sleeve, left to get rid of the support at the upper left.

OOPS - On second look, that "sleeve" at the right looks more like somebody's back.

SIGMA 30 f1.4 autofocus inconsistent...

Rather inconsistent AF with this lens on 3 different bodies... I wonder if this is Sigma problem, wide angle problem or this particular lens copy I have.
