Taking Elsa and my Tamron 18-250 out
Lens: Tamron 18-250 Camera: K10D
Posted By: gawan, 09-17-2010, 02:47 AM

I walk my dog Elsa regularly but my Tamron quite seldom. Yesterday I took the Tamron with me, I was pleased to be reminded how decent performer this Tamron actually is.

... and yed, here is Elsa, she kinda insisted appearing in some scenes

Adorable squirrel Georg. We just have boring gray ones here. I have a lot of shots of the backside of my dog and the leash. She's always insinuating herself into my shots too. Looks like a pretty decent lens.

Thanks Mel, these quick snapshots remind me also it is not the latest gear, but being able to really see around and take the opportunity of the available scenes.

Thanks Jim, we have palnyt of nice small scale scenes to shot here, larger landscapes near here have too much buildings, wires etc...

Rense, thanks! Yes autumn colours are starting to appear slowly. I never pass the opportunity to shoot our cute squirrels! They are also easy to shoot, so accustomed to people, almost eat from you hand.

These are very nice, Georg - very well done. The shot of the leaves is a classic, in my view.
