Sunday morning in Bisbee

This shot of Main Street in the old mining town of Bisbee, Arizona was taken early on a Sunday morning - not a soul or a car around. All the buildings shown are over a hundred years old.

Cool picture. Wonder what the building on the left was originally?

My amateur opinion:

Try cropping the left of the image a bit to equal the right, making the center of the image the street running into the mountain on the horizon and see how it looks.

Very neat little town and good capture!

I imagine it's been a post office for quite some time.

The building on the left has always been a post office on the bottom and the town library on top. It was completed in 1906. Interestingly, there is no mail delivery in Bisbee, as the town is pretty much built on hills, making mail delivery very tedious. Accordingly, everyone has a post office address, and they pick up their mail there. My grandfather, who died in 1944, had a PO box there, and it's still there, albeit with a different renter.

Sharp, rich color - and the emptiness gives the shot an almost (but not quite) eerie feel. I really like it.
