Shooting the moon with the DA 55-300
Lens: DA 55-300 Camera: K20d Photo Location: Saugus Ma ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F13.5

I'm still test driving my new to me DA 55-300 lens. The picture was taken several days ago when the moon wasn't too high in the sky when I took the shot. The first shot is uncropped and the next pic is cropped quite a bit but it still retains a good amount of detail. Thanks again to everyone who told me what a good lens this is before i finally purchased it.--charliezap

Good job - indeed, the 55-300 is a gem, even more so at the price! I have the DAL but haven't had enough chances to give it a spin.

Thanks for sharing.
