This cloud shot isn't up to either the lenticular posted by leadfoot or the spaceship posted by Kari, but I hope you find it interesting. I've had mixed reactions to the foreground: 1) should have found something more interesting; 2) that's the way the country looks; 3) should have avoided the fence (& telephone poles at extreme left); 4) fence is typical of the country, and its presence says something subtle about humans venturing into and attempting to contain a wild, potentially hostile area. I though it was an interesting sky.

Thanks for the replies. By the way, we learned later that this particular storm produced fierce downpours and flooding well to the north.

That's so beautiful! I never noticed the foreground till I read your intro - just couldn't take my eyes off the sky!
