Shot these last weekend. These old Cedars are were looks over 100 years ago in the year. This one looks like fire may have gotten it. The second caught a couple of car lights coming at me and it brightened up the Cedar tree on the right. JIM

That first one is truly intriguing - sort of draws you into its texture. These lush, rich shots are new for you, my friend, and I'm really enjoying them. For no reason I could explain, they make me think of King Arthur, Lancelot, et. al.

Thanks Jer. I have been trying tough lighting conditions along with trying to imprive on the depth of the images I take to see if I can draw the eye around and through the photo. I do a lot of bad ones trying to get one good one. JIM

Great shots as usual, Jim. I love number 2 especially, it does a great job displaying those old growth cedars in BC.

I know how hard it can be to take properly exposed pics in the woods. Good job! Great captures.

The moss is amazing, never seen such thing.

Thank you. The trick is to keep the sky out of the shot. These are 30 second exposures so a calm day is also needed. JIM

Gosh I miss those trees. Very much like those on the Olympic Penninsula in Washington. Feeling nostalgic now. I need a trip to the PNW. Thanks for sharing Jim. Love them both!
