Trying out a new modification on the flash setup.... 2 images stacked

Modified flash?

Is that using the built in flash with an added bounce panel above it or is it some other kind of diffuser?

That is coolest set (octa-set?) of spider eyes I have ever seen.

Just 25 more shots of it and you can stack to show the entire spider with that clarity and detail.

Ha, glad you like it

I've still got the spider, and am still in the testing phase with the flash setup so expect more images in the next couple of days

Outstanding. Almost impossible to get both eyes and pedipalps in focus simultaneously at this range.

Thanks. Yeah normally I'd attempt much more images to stack but my schedule and the subject were not cooperative
