Nursery web spider
Lens: SMCA 200 f4.0 Camera: PZ20? Photo Location: Massachusetts

Another scan from a slide. I'm sure about the lens, but not the camera body - might have been using the LX. A flash was used, almost certainly a 240T (might have been a Sunpack 444D that I purchased about the time this picture was taken). Had the spider in a container set up downstairs for several photos. It was later released and made its nursery web pretty much on the same plant where I let it go. Quite a hoard of spiderlings hatched and stayed about a while, guarded by their mom. When the young dispersed, the female, naturally, died.

Great Macro, sharp focus with good DOF and the right amount of light. Well done.
